The aim of this collaboration was to bring our gastronomic culture closer to erasmus, to present the seemingly worthless sardine fish in two very interesting ways and to convince them otherwise. In addition, they had the opportunity to work in a real professional kitchen under the guidance of a real chef, and they themselves could feel like real chefs for at least one day.
In cooperation with Aspira College, we organized a workshop ''Traditional Dalmatian cuisine''. In the atmosphere of professional cuisine and with the lecturer Jakov Meštrović, a professional chef, we tried to convey a part of our gastronomic culture to our erasmus. We prepared 2 sardine dishes, learned to fillet fish, made shrimp risotto with spinach pesto, and two traditional desserts: fritters and candied almonds.
