To introduce Erasmus students to Lithuanian traditions through music and dance, while encouraging cultural exchange, community connection, and active participation in local heritage.
Tradition in Motion brings Erasmus students into the heart of Lithuanian culture through an evening of traditional music and dance, organised in collaboration with Dainų klubas "Raskila" — a non-governmental group dedicated to cultural preservation and community building.
Students join a regular Tuesday folk dance evening, where they not only watch but also take part in dances accompanied by live traditional music. The friendly, open atmosphere helps everyone feel welcome, regardless of dance experience, and allows students to actively engage with local traditions.
The event highlights the joy of shared movement, rhythm, and cultural expression, creating a lively and meaningful space for students to connect with Lithuanian heritage and each other.
