Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to show Erasmus students the historical places of the city where they carry out their mobility period.
Description
The tour started at 10:30 from "Porta Salza", the place where one of the gates of the old medieval city was built. Continuing along via Pretoria, we visited the cathedral and the statue erected in honor of San Gerardo, patron saint of Potenza, describing some particularities and customs of the patronal feast of 29 May.
The tour continued towards Torre Guevara, a historic tower that is part of the old castle of the city which no longer exists.
From that point, the highest in via Pretoria, the whole city of Potenza is also visible.
