Goal of the Activity

Participants should get a deeper understanding of what it means to be blind and experience the challenges blind people are facing. They should learn not to rely only on their vision, but sensitize the other senses to use them more efficiently.

Description

How would you experience eating a tasty meal when you absolutely can't see it?

Through seeing we usually get 80% of the information about our surroundings. When not having this sense, we rely more on the others.

In this event we will enjoy a two-course-menu in complete darkness and sensitize our other senses, such as hearing, touch, smell and taste. Our two blind guides will navigate us through this experience to give us a deeper understanding of what it means not to see the world around us.

Of course, the food will be adapted to this type of experience and possible food restrictions / allergies will be considered.

Let's get out of our comfort zone together and dive into a unique and very tasty experience in the dark.
