Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

Concert of the Munich Philharmonic in the new Isarphilharmonie.

The concert features two pieces. The first one is probably without any exaggerations one of the most famous and best known violin concertos in the world, written by composer Tschaikowsky. He worked on it in Switzerland while he recovered from a depression caused by a disastrous marriage to Antonina Miliukova. Joined by his pupil, the violinist Iosif Kotek, he was inspired to compose this piece and by the end of it, he had already regained his inspiration. The second work is Mussorgsky's most popular piano composition and features ten single piano parts plus one recurring Promenade theme. It gained attention as being a showpice for virtuoso pianists. The work you will see is the full scale orchestra adaptation by Maurice Ravel.
