Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

Concert of the Munich Philharmonic in the new Isarphilharmonie. Class A seats.

The first piece played today, the symphony No.3 by Robert Schumann, is his last composition before he died, even if it is not the last piece he published. It was inspired by a trip the Rhineland with his wife Clara, a journey feeling peaceful and happy to him. In the music, he included elements of this trip as well as other personal experiences. Schumann was viewed as a conservative composer by his contemporaries.

The second performance features excerpts from Richard Wagner's famous music drama "Götterdämmerung".

More information here.
