The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.
Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.
We published the event with this description:
Concert of the Munich Philharmonic in the new Isarphilharmonie.
This concert features two symphonies. The first one, a work composed by Gustav Mahler, has a vivid genesis. Originally planned as a symphony with six movements and an alternation of vocal and instrumental ones, it now in its final version only incorporates one vocal piece in the final part, the others were eliminated. Also, one four of the six movements are ratained. The second symphony was composed by Shostakovich in 1939. He described it himself as follows: "The musical character of the Sixth Symphony will differ from the mood and emotional tone of the Fifth Symphony, in which moments of tragedy and tension were characteristic. In my latest symphony, music of a contemplative and lyrical order predominates. I wanted to convey in it the moods of spring, joy, youth."
