Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

Concert of the Munich Philharmonic in the new Isarphilharmonie.

The concert today only comprises one work, the monumental sixth symphony by Gustav Mahler. He composed it in an extremely happy time of his life as he married his wife Alma Schindler and his second daughter was born. Nevertheless, the symphony has a very tragic ending and accounts for the nickname of the symphony, although Mahler refused the nicknames of all of his symphonies. The work also features the infamous "Mahler hammer", a giant wooden hammer being used as a musical instrument.

More information here.
