The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.
Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.
We published the event with this description:
Concert of the Munich Philharmonic in the new Isarphilharmonie.
Kraus, Pergolesi and Mozart - three composers who were torn out of life far too early. Joseph Martin Kraus is classified as "Swedish Mozart", which is not only due to the fact that he was born in the same year as the "real" Mozart but also survived him only by a few months. After his early death, the swede fell into oblivion, unduly, as his C minor symphony shows. It was composed in 1792 for the burial of King Gustav III of Sweden. The piece shares its gloomy and melancholic mood with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's famous G minor symphony.
Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, on the other hand, died at the young age of only 26 - but with his "Stabat mater", a jewel of vocal Baroque literature, he became immortal.
