Goal of the Activity

The "Świetlica Odrzańska" in Odra Centrum cafe is an extraordinary place, created with children and young people in mind. It is a space ideal for young participants to make new friends or participate in creative workshops.

Thanks to cooperation with our section, the Odra Centrum cafe has also become a place that encourages Erasmus+ students to actively engage in the life of the local community. Volunteering in such a unique environment not only allows for interesting interactions with children curious about the world, but also gives students a chance to better understand Polish culture and enrich their own experiences during the exchange.

Description

The event was attended by children from the areas affected by the September floods. Our volunteers and Erasmus+ students supported the young participants in decorating gingerbread cookies and were eager to chat, creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. Thanks to this, the children had the opportunity not only to have a good time, but also to learn the basics of English, while the Erasmus students improved their knowledge of Polish.

It was a beautiful exchange of experiences and cultures, which brought a lot of joy and smiles, and at the same time promoted the idea of the Erasmus+ programme.
