The main objectives of the event were to promote sustainability and reuse, encourage mindful consumption through the exchange of second-hand clothes and items, and foster integration between the local community and International students by involving both.
The event took place at La Bookique and involved both International students and the local community. Each participant could bring second-hand clothes and items to exchange for others. The novelty of this edition was the introduction of tokens, which were assigned based on the value of the item (for example, 2 tokens for a T-shirt, 5 for a coat). International students with an ESN card automatically received 10 tokens, since, at the beginning of the year, they often do not have items to exchange but need to take them. The use of tokens aimed to encourage responsible "shopping" and avoid impulsive buying, promoting a better turnover of goods.
