The main aim of this activity was to provide Erasmus students with essential information about Poland and to immerse them in Polish culture so that they can smoothly navigate through their daily lives in the country.
Our event aimed to bring Erasmus students closer to the language and culture of the country where they will be staying for the semester. To do so, participating international students were divided into groups and assigned a native Polish volunteer. They were introduced to basic Polish language phrases commonly used in everyday life, as well as the most popular dishes from Polish cuisine, notable places to visit, commonly used service applications, and other practical advice, such as behavioural norms and public transport regulations. After the theoretical part, everyone participated in the quiz game containing the gained knowledge to bring a fun element to the event. Participants were provided with paper worksheets they could take with them to review information at a later time.
