The goal of the activity was to show our volunteers that even small gestures like preparing sandwiches can make a difference when it comes to helping homeless and less fortunate people.
Soup in the Planty is a local foundation that works for people experiencing homelessness. As part of our cooperation with the foundation, we participated in one of Soup's projects: it was to take part in Thursday's preparations, during which sandwiches are made, tea is brewed and packages are assembled for people in need. We wrapped the made sandwiches in paper, which we decorated with colorful drawings and a good word. Such a meeting usually lasts an hour and a half, but our support made us do the preparations in less than an hour :). Helping to make sandwiches is not the only form in which we supported the foundation - until the end of June we are also organizing a collection of the most necessary articles for the benefit of people supported by Soup.
