Our summer activities are dedicated to students who just arrived in the city and to give them a first chance to meet new people and feel welcome in their new home. The start of a life abroad is not always easy, thus, with the summer activities, we really try to give them some hold and show that ESN is a safe place and a first contact point if they ever need anything. The Canoes allowed them to discover the city from a unique perspective, while it the sports aspect was also good for their physical health. The Boat Tour afterwards was intended to give them a chance to socialise, meet people and talk to each other, while enjoying the ride.
First, the participants divided themselves into duos and then went on the canoe tour. Afterwards, we all went on the boat, enjoyed some drinks, also alcohol-free ones, and some snacks. We all talked a lot with each other and made sure everyone had a good time.
