Goal of the Activity

Showcasing the North Netherlands nature and UNESCO world heritage Wadden Sea to new and local students.

Description

Join us for a unique experience as we explore the stunning tidal flats of the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty and biodiversity. Wadlopen, or mudflat hiking, allows you to walk across the seabed at low tide, offering a rare chance to discover the rich nature and wildlife of this protected area. It's an incredible chance to connect with nature, challenge yourself, and make new friends.

Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before – our guides from the Rotary Club will ensure everyone is prepared and safe. Just bring your sense of adventure and get ready to wade through the amazing landscapes of the Waddenzee.

After our walk, we will warm up with some delicious pizza and a drink at a local establishment, which is all included in the ticket price. It’s the perfect way to relax, socialise, and share stories from our amazing day!

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to explore the Waddenzee, create lasting memories and enjoy a day out. We can’t wait to see you there!
