To equip students with effective study techniques and practical mental health strategies to better manage academic stress, while also fostering a supportive environment between two ESN sections.
We held a joint event with ESN Boğaziçi titled Study Hacks and Mental Health, where participants came together to explore both academic strategies and mental well-being. The session started with a concise yet informative presentation covering effective study methods — from time management and active recall to prioritization techniques that help reduce exam-related anxiety. The presentation encouraged participants to reflect on their own academic routines and provided tools to study more efficiently.
Following the presentation, we transitioned into a guided breathing exercise, demonstrated by the host and practiced together as a group. This mindfulness technique was aimed at helping students manage stress in high-pressure situations like exam periods.
To wrap up the event on a lighter note, we played a themed Kahoot quiz focused on both study strategies and mental health facts. The quiz not only reinforced what was learned earlier but also created an enjoyable, interactive atmosphere.
The collaboration between ESN TEDU and ESN Boğaziçi was especially meaningful, as it strengthened the connection between our two sections and provided an opportunity to share knowledge and best practices across campuses.
