Goal of the Activity
The activity aimed to raise awareness, show solidarity, and promote acceptance and equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
Description
On July 20, 2024, we participated in the fourth edition of "StrettoPride" in Messina. This pride parade served as a protest to affirm, support, and protect the human rights of LGBTQ+ individuals. This year we contributed to the cause by making a speech on the importance of equality among people of different sexual orientations and cultural backgrounds. Students marched alongside us through the city's main streets, adorned in colourful outfits and makeup, to express solidarity with this cause. By the end of the afternoon, they felt proud and happy to have contributed to the movement.
