Goal of the Activity
The objective of the event was to leverage gamification in order to force participants to use their English vocabulary and be creative with it.
Naturally, a second objective was to integrate them and make them feel they are not alone in times of isolation.
Description
Erasmus and ESNers would gather in a Discord channel of the ESN Uni Wien Discord Server to talk and interact while playing https://stopots.com/en/
In the game, we pre-defined categories such as "verb", "adjective", "personality trait", "country", etc to make participants practise their English vocabulary.
Additionally, we would talk and explain the meaning of words that might be unknown to some of the participants.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
