Goal of the Activity

The goal of this event, Speed Friending and Board Game Night, is to create a welcoming and fun environment where attendees can build new social connections and strengthen existing ones. Whether participants are outgoing, shy, or somewhere in between, the event provides opportunities to meet new people through structured speed-friending activities and casual, enjoyable board games.

By offering two parallel activities—speed friending and board gaming—the event ensures everyone feels included and has options to engage in ways that suit their comfort level. Ultimately, the goal is to foster a sense of community, encourage new friendships, and provide an evening of lighthearted fun and “hygge” for everyone involved.

Description

Looking to meet new people and make meaningful connections, but not sure where to start? Join us for Speed Friending and Board game night!

While there wil be board game “hygge” in the Student Café, the room Richard Mortensen will transform into a space, where you will get the chance to meet new people and possibly meet new friends! Whether you are a social butterfly, introverted or shy, we will provide a safe place (and fun conversation topics!) for you to discover new connections!

If you just want to show up with your friends to play a couple of board games, you’re more than welcome to! The Student Café will be filled with all sorts of fun games, so there is something for everyone! In other words: you don’t have to do speed friending to come and play board games and vice versa!

After the speed friending event, we will open up the entire space for board games! So take your new and old friends by the hand and enjoy an evening of friendly competition and hygge!

When?: November 5th.
When specifically?: Doors open at 19:00. Speed friending starts around 19:30!
Where?: speed friending will take place in the room called Richard Mortensen, and board games will be set up in the Student Café.

We look forward to seeing you!
