Our goal was to celebrate our Erasmus students' arrival to Istanbul and to make sure that they feel at home by creating a safe space for them to meet and get to know each other and also making it fun.
After the orientation meeting we held at our university, we headed to the venue we had prepared for our Speed Friending activity together. At the venue we had prepared name tags for everyone, including our mascot, to ensure that everyone got the best experience out of the activity. After our students gathered at the venue, we seperated them into 2-3 people groups around the tables and started a timer of 3 minutes. Everyone left their table to pair up with others at the 3 minute mark as our OC's guided everyone to do so. In the end of the event, everyone had gotten to know each other and had fun while doing so.
