This activity was thought out with 3 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations in mind. These are n12. Responsible consumption and production, n13. Climate action and n15. Life on land. The main aim and objectives of this event would be to foster active citizenship and volunteering. Here, they could also share their culture and languages while breaking down barriers and stereotypes. Thus, we aim to promote the integration of foreigners in the local community, while showing them the variety of our natural heritage and our geographical particularities. At the same time, raising awareness about environmental conservation and to foster deeper connections between international students and nature during their mobility programme.

Would you like to give more meaning to your erasmus? Then help us create a butterfly effect where YOUR small actions could lead to change on a larger scale.
Social Angels’ Day is a project created by ESN Coimbra dedicated to positive change with social and environmental causes in mind. On the 25th of February, starting at 14h00 we will be cleaning the Choupal National Forest in Coimbra, a beautiful place surrounded by nature. Afterwards we’ll relax, sit back and enjoy each other’s company over a picnic.
Do not forget to bring a pair of gloves, a trash bag and snacks to share with everyone!
The meeting point is at Coimbra-B station (by the bus stop outside) at 14h00.
Together we can truly make a difference on the landscape of this incredible place. We hope to see you there! 😊
