Goal of the Activity

To take Erasmus students to the snow by introducing them to our mountains and the beauty of skiing on Italian ski resorts, even to those who may have never seen snow

Description

Regarding round-trip transport, several trucking companies were contacted, and by consulting the quotes provided it was decided to take Samu's contact into consideration, as it provided the lowest quote and was also the most flexible.
Given the delay in organisation, the price we were quoted for the 36-person bus was €800
Some active members arrived with their own vehicle, Davide at the beginning of the day to enjoy skiing with everyone else and others at the end of the afternoon, to join the après ski.
Regarding the rental, we contacted the Rainbow Bar-rental rental company, which offered us the ski + boots + poles and helmet package for €15 with the possibility of choosing between skis and snowboards.
The rental also had some bobsleds available that two adventurous Erasmus students used to do some descents at the end of the day.
Some Erasmus were skiing for the first time, so we advised them to book the lesson with the instructor which cost €17.50/h per person; considering that there were 4 kids interested, we booked a lesson from 9 to 10
The daily ski pass cost €36 + €3 insurance, for a total of €39. The ski passes were bought two days in advance online in order to speed up the procedures in the morning and given that we reached 25 people on skis we managed to get a 50% discount on insurance, €1.50 per ski pass and a free ski pass as group leaders. On the same day we only had to go to the ticket office to collect the physical ski passes.
We have decided to offer 3 separate fees in order to give both the possibility of skiing and spending a day with friends on the snow. Thanks to the division of ESN members we managed to stay both with the Erasmus on skis and with the others who ventured into walking on the snow.
Since we had a good amount of money, we decided to buy some camparini and salami to offer to the Erasmus students to spend a nice moment together before going to the après-ski.
Only two days before, 1 participant wrote to us that he would not be coming, so some were asked in the group and in private to take his place, finally we managed to find Davide, who made sure we were able to reimburse the absentee 50% %
