Erasmus in Schools intends to familiarise students with Europe and its citizens, their traditions and customs, as well as to overcome stereotypes. It offers an opportunity for international students to get closer to the local communities they live in and an opportunity to promote their home countries. At the same time it gives local pupils the opportunity to get a first-hand experience of other cultures existing in Europe.
We also take advantage of the fact that we are at Social Inclusion Days to discuss what Social Inclusion is and how ESN Lisboa implements it.
The Erasmus enjoyed it a lot, and the same goes for the students and the professor. They even stayed a while longer than what had been planned initially and some students stayed during part of their break to talk with Erasmus and ESNers
