Goal of the Activity

As ESN Samsun, we organized a special event to host our fellow members from ESN Trabzon and ESN Erciyes. The purpose of this event was to foster cultural exchange, build stronger connections within the ESN community, and showcase the unique charm of Samsun.

During the event, our guests had the opportunity to savor some of Samsun's culinary delights, including the famous pide and Çakallı menemen. We also took them on a tour of Samsun's renowned landmarks, providing an enriching and memorable experience.

The aim of this event was not only to introduce our guests to the local culture and cuisine but also to strengthen the bonds between different ESN branches. By sharing our traditions and exploring Samsun together, we hope to create lasting friendships and promote the spirit of unity within the Erasmus community.

Description

Our memorable event began with savoring the delectable Çakallı menemen, a local specialty. Energized by this delicious breakfast, we embarked on a cultural journey through the Samsun Museum, where history and art intertwined seamlessly. Following this, we strolled through the scenic Batıpark and ascended the enchanting Amisos Hill, enjoying breathtaking views and the invigorating outdoors.

After these delightful outdoor activities, we indulged in the renowned Bafra pide, a culinary masterpiece that left our guests in awe. A leisurely walk along the picturesque coastline followed, offering serene moments by the sea. The evening culminated at a cozy pub, where we engaged in friendly competitions of darts and foosball, fostering camaraderie and socializing in a vibrant atmosphere.
