Explore the city of Salzburg, Austria, which is not too far from Munich. Salzburg offers a lot of cultural heritage, especially regarding architecture and music, and has a famous christmas market to enjoy.

Then get ready with us to embrace the Christmas spirit at one of the worlds oldest Christmas markets in the city where Mozart was born - Salzburg Christmas market in Austria! 🇦🇹🎄
🤔 WHAT DOES THE TRIP LOOK LIKE?
We will meet at platform 9 at Munich central station and take the BRB train to Salzburg central station. After arriving in Salzburg we will explore the city together, visiting attractions like the famous fortress Hohensalzburg, the gardens of castle Mirabell, and the scenic city center. After our city tour we will arrive at beautiful Salzburg Christmas market, having the possibility of trying tasty Austrian food, enjoying delicious mulled wine or punch, and buying artful gifts! 🍭🍷😉
🎒 WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- CASH for Christmas market, as card payment is often not accepted
- Warm clothing and good shoes or trainers (we will walk all day)
- Water and snacks if needed
- Your passport or European ID since we are crossing country borders
🤔 WHEN DO WE RETURN?
We plan to be back in Munich around 8 pm
🚂 DO I NEED A TICKET FOR THE TRAIN?
No, if you have the Deutschlandticket. The train we are going to take will be included in the Deutschlandticket, even though it's in Austria
