Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity is to promote a local resource such as saffron by allowing students to partecipate in the harvesting of the saffron flower, a traditional local activity
Description
We left from L'aquila to arrive at the monastery of Bominaco. We visited the monastery with a guide then went for a sensory experience in Civita Retenga where we tasted saffron products, picked saffron flowers, listened to a jazz concert, viewed saffron under a microscope and smelled various saffron aromas; a sensorial experience that involved all the senses
