Road trip to Ascoli Piceno

The trip had as its main destination Ascoli Piceno, a famous city in the Marche (italian region), capital of the province that has the same name. As an intermediate stop we stopped in Civitella del Tronto, a medieval village on the border between Abruzzo and Marche; we stayed for a couple of hours, we took a tour of the most characteristic places in the city and then, getting back on the bus, we reached Ascoli Piceno. After having seen every corner of the city, we stopped for an aperitif; finally, in the late afternoon, we set off again.
