The aim of this activity was to introduce new Erasmus students to the city of Rimini, home to the University campus.
In addition to the historical and cultural points of interest, the students were able to visit the streets of the city centre and identify the main services that will be useful to them during their exchange period (e.g. municipal library, supermarkets, clothes shops, etc.).
Part of the tour also included games about Italian and Rimini traditions and cuisine.
After a brief introduction by the ESN volunteers in charge of organising the activity, the Erasmus students were divided into teams of 8/10 participants each.
The tour included 5 main stops at historical and characteristic monuments in Rimini. At each stop, after a fold-out of the monument or historical point of interest made by the association's volunteers, the teams played the planned games ("sciogli lingua in italiano", "indovina la ricetta", Italian gesture game) in order to put them in contact with Italian culture and at the same time create interest and fun. In the teams, the international youngsters were able to get to know each other and the volunteers, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
