Goal of the Activity

The goal of this activity was to promote environmental awareness and sustainable thinking among students by organizing an online seminar titled “Redefining Waste” in collaboration with ESN CAG. We invited a university professor who is also an expert environmental engineer to share valuable insights on circular economy, sustainable campuses, and recycling. Through this event, we aimed to encourage participants to reflect on their environmental impact and adopt more sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Description

In collaboration with ESN CAG, we organized an online seminar titled “Redefining Waste” to explore key topics in sustainability. Our guest speaker was a university professor and expert in environmental engineering, who provided an informative session on the principles of the circular economy, the importance of creating sustainable campuses, and practical approaches to recycling. The seminar aimed to broaden participants’ perspectives on waste management and inspire them to contribute to a more sustainable future. The event concluded with a Q&A session, allowing students to engage directly with the expert and deepen their understanding of the discussed topics.
