Goal of the Activity
The aim of the event is to raise awareness among Erasmus students to prevent food waste and to foster integration within the local community where they spend their mobility period. The students took part in a voluntary activity that would benefit the local community.
Description
During this environment-friendly activity We ESN volunteers together with the Erasmus students met with the Recup association at a local market - close to the center of Milano- in order to save the unsold food, fruit and vegetables, sorting them and delivering them to people most in need. The event usually lasted about an hour.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
