Pumpkin carving is a fun and festive activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds hence the goal is to connect international students and let them learn about their different traditions and customs by showing them a typical local Halloween activity and celebrating the beauty of the fall season and Halloween.
The event as posted with the following description:
"Meet up with us for a festive👻🦇, autumn🍁 event: PUMPKIN🎃 CARVING!
We will be outside, next to the Isar 🌊, enjoying the beautiful fall 🍂 colors 🍂 while carving some unique pumpkins🎃! Additionally, there may be a little fire 🤩🔥 or grill to keep us warm.
Provided will be:
- A pumpkin
- Tea light
Please bring your own:
- Knife and other tools (ex. marker, spoon, etc.) (for carving)
- Something to sit on
- Proper attire (warm clothes that can get dirty, for example🙃)
- WATER for you to drink!"
We met with the participants outside at a free grilling zone and provided pumpkins for them to carve. We also provided some snacks and grills for them to cook a little bit of food (like S'mores or sausages)
