This event is part of ESN Welcome Week, which is traditionally the first week the incoming Erasmus students will spend in Pécs. During this week they get to know the city and the university, they build connections with their fellow Erasmus students and locals, and also learn about the way things work here. It’s important to make them feel more familiar, so they can spend the rest of their Erasmus comfortable and engaged with local culture. All of our welcome week events work towards this goal and show the students different parts of the city and our local life.
During this event the students will be broken up into 4 groups and 4 team leaders will show them 4 different bars. In a rotating system each team will stay at a bar for 45 mins and then go to the next one, and another team will take their place. The bars for this Pub Crawl are Vödör, Bazár, Zsanér and Nappali (the tour ends with everyone going to Csinos as the final destination). We talked to the owners and have a reserved place for the groups for the whole tour. We also managed to get a discout coupons for the students in some of the bars. The team leaders will bring some cards (uno, french cards) so that students can play and get to know each other.
After the Pub Crawl there will be an ESN Party in Trafik.
