The main goal of the activity was to promote inclusion, equality, and cultural exchange by actively participating in the 2025 Torino Pride. By collaborating with Erasmus students and creating signs together, the activity aimed to raise awareness about LGBTQIA+ rights, foster a sense of community among international and local participants, and encourage open dialogue about diversity and acceptance. It also sought to strengthen teamwork, creativity, and intercultural understanding through a shared social initiative.
As part of our involvement in the 2025 Torino Pride, we organized a collaborative workshop where participants—including local students and Erasmus exchange students—created handmade pride signs, posters, and banners. The session began with a short introduction about the meaning of Pride and the importance of LGBTQIA+ visibility. Working in mixed groups, everyone contributed ideas, slogans, and designs, combining different languages and cultural perspectives to make the signs unique and representative of our diverse group.
After preparing the materials, we joined the Torino Pride parade together, carrying the signs and taking part in the march. The atmosphere was vibrant and inclusive, with music, colors, and thousands of people celebrating diversity. The activity encouraged interaction among participants, allowed Erasmus students to experience an important cultural event in Italy, and reinforced a shared commitment to human rights and equality.
