Goal of the Activity

The goal of the Polish language lesson was to help international students become more familiar with the basics of the Polish language in a fun and beginner-friendly environment. The activity aimed to support students in their daily life in Poznań by teaching useful phrases, encouraging active communication, and boosting confidence when interacting with locals. It also served as a platform for cultural exchange and deeper engagement with the host country.

Description

The Polish language lesson organized by ESN UAM Poznań took place on [insert date] and was designed especially for Erasmus and international students with little or no experience in the Polish language.

During the session, participants learned everyday expressions, greetings, numbers, and simple sentences that can be used in shops, on public transport, or in casual conversation. The interactive format included games, pronunciation practice, and mini-dialogues, making the learning process both effective and enjoyable.

The atmosphere was friendly and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and practice without pressure. For many, it was their first step toward understanding the Polish language and culture – and definitely not the last!
