The aim of the activity was to provide International students with basic, most useful Polish phrases, allowing them to navigate more easily through everyday life in Poland during their stay.
This was the first meeting of Languages 101 series, thus the choice of Polish language, to bring international students closer to the language they would need shortly after arriving to Poland. It was introduced in a form of interactive training, with provided worksheets with all the material that were presented during the event. Each phrase was explained in a practical way of the possible contexts of its' usage. The facilitator also helped with perfecting the pronounciation of each phrase throughout the workshop. After the presentation a practical conversation practice was prepared, where the participants could strike a conversation based on provided script to help them. To end the event in a fun way, Kahoot quiz was conducted, containing the knowledge gained throughout the training.
