Goal of the Activity

With the open policy dialogue between the European Parliament and youth, we aimed to assess the current situation following the European elections and to understand the realities and grassroots initiatives that boost youth mobilization and engagement in European affairs.

Description

In the cooperation with Hertie School in Berlin we hosted Milad Tabesch, founder and managing director of "Ruhrpott für Europa,“ for a Policy & Pizza session discussing local and regional initiatives to boost youth engagement in EU affairs, as well as a review of the recent European elections. Milad will also discuss his work as an Nordrhein-Westfalen EU Youth Ambassador and at the organisation JoinPolitics.

It was a great opportunity to engage directly with policy practitioners and learn more about European Union.
