Spread information about the history of witchery trials and the treatment towards women.
The activity was divided in 2 parts: the first one a presentation and the second one a colloquium. The presentation was focussed around the introduction to the topic “Pint of feminism, witch hunt”; it introduced the history of witch hunt in Spain, specifying in the local case of Cantabria. Also, the speaker talked about the internationally known example of Salem and the origins of these anti-witch rituals.
The colloquium happened right after the presentation; coordinators brought some questions prepared for commencing the debate as “Comparation of the idea of witch in your countries” or “Is there any legend or any type of witch typical from your country/region?”; based on those questions some other topics proposed by the erasmus students were discussed for around an hour and a half until the activity finished.
