Goal of the Activity
To raise awareness of the role of women in science and their lack of recognition throughout history. To analyse the current situation and think about possible improvements.
Description
This Pint aimed to provide a historical visualisation of women in science, and the difficulties they have had in being recognised for their scientific work over the years. With the presentation carried out by the volunteers explaining the above, a debate was opened with the Erasmus students where some aspects were discussed in depth, such as the low participation of women in decision-making positions compared to men. In addition, the lack of female presence in sectors such as engineering was highlighted.
