Photo exhibition "Here they fought!"

We have visited the photo exhibition set up by a volunteer of Milano Statale's section, about the places where the Second World War has been fought. He offered us a guided tour to tell us the story of his family, that inspired him in taking this project, and to show us the photo he took during his travel along the italian Alps. He also told us a lot of information about the history of this terrible war, with a special focus on the Foibe massacres. The aim of the exhibition was to aware people about the horrors of war and to let them know the importance of European Union and intercultural dialogue.
