During the event, our aim was to raise awareness about stray animals by organizing fun activities such as designing and painting food bowls. We also distributed the bowls, along with food suitable for the animals, to local tradesmen in Şile to create places where the animals can always find food. By carrying out this event with the help of a veterinarian, we aimed to support the animals’ health, and local people were also informed about animal care.
First, we collaborated with the Şile Municipality and painted the food bowls we received at our school. Afterwards, we distributed these bowls and food to local tradesmen in Şile. While distributing the food bowls, a filming crew from the municipality recorded us and shared the footage to raise awareness among more people. Additionally, the veterinarians who accompanied us informed people about animals and checked the health conditions of stray animals.
