Goal of the Activity
Cook Panellets, which is a traditional dessert that is made in Catalonia (Spain) on October 31st to celebrate La Castanyada.
Description
We rent a kitchen in Barcelona and we brought our Erasmus students there to cook Panellets. There were two tables with all the necessary ingredients to prepare this dessert: almond, sugar, potato, chocolate and coconut. We provided an explanation about the tradition of this dessert and its typical preparation in Catalonia, and then they started to create their own Panellets.
