The main objective was to allow our international students and volunteers to discover one of the least known but very famous places in Milan.
Given the importance of the Palace of Justice, both from an architectural and artistic point of view, we decided to organize a free guided tour in English for our members in order to have an important cultural moment.
We were guided by a Brigadier chief for a 2-hour tour in English of the Palace of Justice. He explained the history of the building and its importance on an artistic and architectural level. The building was built in the 1930s and is a perfect example of rationalist architecture. Internally the palace was decorated with various mosaics, high reliefs, frescoes and sculptures which, inspired by the Roman artistic tradition, were to illustrate the history of Justice.
