The purpose of this activity is to give a warm welcome to the new students at the beginning of the semester. It aims to provide them with essential information about living in Istanbul, useful guidance for the settlement process, and an introduction to how the university operates.
This event is held every semester as part of the ''Welcome Week/Month'' In collaboration with ESN Kadir Has and Kadir Has University's Erasmus Office, ESN Kadir Has gives a presentation each year to let students know that they are not alone and that there are people they can reach out to whenever they face any difficulties. In addition, the university library staff provide a presentation, the Erasmus Office explains processes such as the residency permit, and the Student Affairs Office guides students on how to complete their course registrations.In this way, before the semester officially begins, students have the chance to learn important details about settling in Istanbul, while also having a space to socialize. After the presentations, ESN Kadir Has creates opportunities within the university for students to connect and interact with one another.
