Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

Don Giovanni is a famous opera or more precisely a dramma giocoso (a blend of comedy, melodrama and featuring some supernatural elements) written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1788 to a Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It tells the story of a libertine (today he might pejoratively be called a womaniser) and is based on an old Spanish legend. This staging premiered at the Cuvilliéstheater on 24 June 2017.

In Italian with German (only) surtitles; we therefore recommend you to read the plot before the event. This is even more important if you do not speak German well enough to follow the surtitles. More information here. Class A seats for 88€ 10€.

About the opera

As long as he lives and breathes, Don Giovanni will never cease his quest for amorous adventures, even if his loyal servant Leporello has already catalogued hundreds of conquests. Donna Elvira already belongs to the past, Donna Anna is surprised in her bed-chamber and Zerlina is actually to be seduced on her wedding day. But broken hearts, cuckolded husbands and dishonoured fathers come together to send the seducer to Hell once and for all.
