This was the first session of our European project The First Step in Career Planning. There we had as a guest the European Project Manager of the Foundation "Alături de Voi" Romania, where she talked about the foundation and how we can involve students in social innovation actions. Then we made an introduction to the whole project and shared the activities calendar with the participants.
We are happy to announce that you are invited to participate on Thursday, December 3rd, at 5 P.M., at the Intro Session - the first of the online meetings that will take place during the project “The First Step in Career Planning”.
Manuela Iftimoaei, our special guest, is European Project Manager at the Foundation “Alături de Voi” România, with more than 19 years of professional experience in project management (editing, coordination, supervision), developing numerous social, educational and entrepreneurial programs within the organisation. During the briefing session "Young people and their involvement in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals" we will jointly identify ways of involving students in social innovation actions. This session aims to also discuss actions that promote and support the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 8 (Decent Work and Growth) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Furthermore, we will give you a brief overview of the project “The First Step in Career Planning”, the target group and the calendar of activities.
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the largest international student association promoting 6 causes, which represent the different areas where we, as part of the ESN community, believe that we can contribute to society by involving local and international students. The 6 causes are Culture, Social Inclusion, Environmental Sustainability, Health and Well-Being, Education and Youth, Skills and Employability.
