The activity aim was to be the Local Erasmus Games at ESN Bilbao, whose winner would have the chance to take part at the National Erasmus Games
There were 3 sports: Basketball (3 vs 3), Football (5 vs 5) and Volleyball (3 vs 3). In the case of the Volleyball and Football teams, they needed to be mixed one, so at least one girl had to be part of the team in order to be able to compete.
The teams were divided into different groups, from which the first 2 classified passed to the quarter or semifinals phase and then to the final. The winners can participate to the national tournament, representing Bilbao in Granada in March 27-29th. And in case they win there, go to the international tournament in Roumania!!
On Saturday, Basketball and Football tournaments took part, while the Voleyball tournament took place on Sunday at Ereaga beach.
The activity was free for international students, although they had to bring 2kg of non-perishable food each in order to take part. This would be later donated to a local charity.
In total there were 6 football teams with a total of 41 international students, 4 basketball teams with 18 international students taking part and 10 volleyball teams with 40 international students taking part.
The international students were provided with free water and fruits during the breaks.
As each participant had to bring 2kg of non perishable food, the total collected amount was 174kg of food, which was donated to a local charity.
