The Old Town tour aims to immerse students in Barcelona's rich history and cultural heritage by exploring the Gothic Quarter and Born area. Through visits to landmarks such as the Arc de Triomf, Ciutadella Park, and the Cathedral of Barcelona, students gain insight into the city’s medieval architecture and stories that shaped its past. The tour encourages cultural appreciation, providing a deeper understanding of Catalonia’s traditions and historical context.

Description

This is a tour through the Gothic Quarter and the Born area. We start at Passeig de Sant Joan and finish at Las Ramblas.

The stops include: Arc de Triomf, Ciutadella Park, Born Market, Fossar de les Moreres, Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona Cathedral, Casa de l’Ardiaca, Sant Felip Neri, Bishop’s Bridge, Plaça Sant Jaume, Plaça Reial, and finally Las Ramblas.
