Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

Neuschwanstein Castle is a fairytale palace surrounded by stunning scenery. It was built by Bavarian King Ludwig II, who focused his attention on creating overtly extravagant palaces to which he could retreat, earning himself the nickname "the Fairy Tale King". (He was eventually declared insane and deposed.) The castle was left in its incomplete state when Ludwig II died under mysterious circumstances and was soon after opened to the public as a museum. Almost a century later, it would serve as model for Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle.

A train journey through the majestic Bavarian countryside takes us to the idyllic setting of Hohenschwangau, where only a 30 minute hike separates us from the magic entrance. After a guided tour of the castle, you will have the opportunity to explore the nearby scenery on your own.

Included in the registration fee:

Train from Munich to Hohenschwangau

Admission to Neuschwanstein Castle

Train from Hohenschwangau to Munich
