Become aware of the different types of discrimination with the aim of spreading the word and preventing it from happening in the local community and among exchange students.
The sessions were focused on the discrimination.
One of the actitivities was watching a video that includes prejudice, then analysing what was happening and what are the impressions the participants in the training had of the video. We differentiated between prejudice, discrimination, superstition and similar phenomena.
Then during the second day there was a sesssion about discrimination: what is it, what are the different types of it. Another part was on the topic of cultural discrimination with examples and what are the most common cultural differences. The most engaging activity was about peer discrimination, where participants got impacted from different real-life stories and had to describe them, and to propose solutions. The discussion was intense, including various points of view, but in the end common ground was found.
The participants were from different parts of Bulgaria and were impacted by the sessions. Most of them used train as their means of transport.
