Join us for a hike at the beautiful scenery of the Danube bend!
The hike is 10 km long from Nagymaros to Zebegény, and besides many viewpoints we’ll visit a cave as well. 🍃🌸☀️
📍Meeting point: Nyugati pályaudvar (Nyugati railway station), around platforms 3-5
📍Meeting time: 08:30 (24th of March)

‼️If you do not have a country pass or a Pest county pass, please arrive in time to be able to buy your train ticket to Nagymaros-Visegrád !!
The approximate price of the train ticket is 560 Ft if you have a student ID, or you’re under 25. Otherwise, it’s 1200 Ft. ‼️
We will get off the train at Nagymaros-Visegrád and then start our hike to Zebegény.
Estimated arrival to Zebegény: 15:00-16:00
After arrival, you can grab something to eat or drink with us and explore the village a little, or catch a train back to Budapest.
What to bring?
🍃Hiking boots or comfortable closed-toe shoes
🍃Water (you won’t be able to refill on the mountain)
🍃Snacks (some sandwiches, biscuits to munch on during the hike)
🍃Raincoat (in case of some rain)
🍃Layers of clothes (while hiking you might feel better in less clothing, but it can get windy on the mountain so it’s good to have an extra layer)
